Course Synopsis:
The average patrol officer is not SWAT trained; consequently, this building search instructor course is designed for patrol officers. It offers information and training in patrol officer building search tactics and techniques, designing building search exercises, and conducting realistic building search scenarios. Guidelines for safely integrating marking ammunition, Air-Soft weapons, and simulation training equipment into building search exercises are included. Participants receive a complete instructor manual, PowerPoint presentation, and instructor certification. The course offers instruction in the following topics:
